Our Founder
Geoff Walker is the founder and director of Re-fuze. He has over 20 years of experience working in the building industry as a carpenter and cabinet maker.
Geoff launched Re-fuze in 2009 to salvage discarded junk – such as old furniture and floorboards, motorbike parts, metal, textiles, plastic, and glass – and turn them into beautiful, functional, and ethical items of furniture and installations.
For over 13 years, Re-fuze has been designing, building and renovating commercial spaces (cafes, bars, restaurants, etc.) and residential apartments.
Although Geoff leads on project management and design, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and immerse himself in all projects.

We love working with clever and innovative designers, pushing the limits of space creation with classic themes and vibrant colours.

We create mostly commercial interiors such as bars, cafes, restaurants, business spaces, and shop fit-outs. We also provide general carpentry and low-end construction services when the buildings we renovate need upgrading.
Although we work with architects and interior design teams, we also work directly with our clients to co-create their vision, creating spaces they’re proud to be in and happy to walk into each day.
With 35 years of experience in the design, build and fit-out, we know who we want to help shape their dream space and look forward to working with those businesses and creating strong partnerships that grow together.
